Alan Rickman

I would like to introduce the actor Alan Rickman. He was born in England on February 21, 1946. He was initially a graphic designer, but he was active in stage theater at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his first film appearance in Die Hard in 1988 and he won the British Academy Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in Robin Hood in 1991.

Alan Rickman has appeared in my favorite Harry Potter series. All the characters in the Harry Potter series are unique and good, but the character he played was very impressive. Severus Snape is an insidious person, but Alan Rickman was able to play the character brilliantly. He was very good at the role because he had a low voice and a scary face. I think the character he played became famous because his play was great.


He became popular in the Harry Potter series, but he died of pancreatic cancer on January 14, 2016. I didn't know he was dead. I'm very sad, but I would like to continue watching the Harry Potter series.

I will introduce  Interstellar . This movie science fiction movie was released in 2014. The director of this movie is Christopher Nolan. The movie was starring Matthew McConaughey. It won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 2015. As of 2014, the movie's box office revenue was $ 133,782,264 in North America and $ 329,582,264 worldwide. The production cost of this movie was $ 165,000,000. I was very surprised to see this production cost. This movie is mainly about space. This movie is a story about searching for a star where humans can live for the survival of humankind. It is a movie that suffers from loneliness because only selected people can go to space. The movie is fiction, but I felt the fear that is really likely from natural disasters in the future.  This is a science fiction movie, so the story was difficult, but it was very interesting. The Wizard of OZ

I chose The Wizard of Oz for movie. There are two reasons for choosing it. The first reason is that I had read the Wizard of Oz in the picture book in the past, so I wanted to know more about the movie. The second reason is that when I heard "Over The Rainbow" in the class, I didn't know that he was The wizard of Oz and answered other answers. I was wondering where the song would play. The movie was released in 1939 as a fantasy musical movie. The original is "The Wizard of Oz" from "Ryman Frank Baume" in 1900.It is an old children's literature novel about 120 years ago. It is a popular novel that is still read in Japan as a children's literature novel. I read short stories when I was in kindergarten, so I understood the story to some extent. But the movie was more fantasy and I found it very interesting. This movie has won the Academy Award in 1939 for the work award, composition award, and special award. Judy Garland starred in this movie.

Genre Writing (Fantasy Genre)

 I chose the fantasy genre. The fantasy genres include high fantasy, low fantasy, magical realism, Fairy Tales and Fables, and superheroes. I like high fantasy and low fantasy among them. High fantasy is a story set in a different world itself. Low fantasy is set in the real world, but magic and monsters that are not in reality appear.                                       I would like to introduce a movie work in the low fantasy genre. Harry Potter is a famous work in fantasy movies. Harry Potter has several movies, the first of which was released in 2001. The director is Chris Columbus. He was the director of the 2004 Harry Potter movie. I mentioned earlier that Harry Potter has several works, but the role of Harry Potter has always been played by Daniel Radcliffe.  I also like Beauty and the Beast in addition to Harry Potter.  This is a movie in the fairy tale genre Beauty and the Beast seems more realistic than the Harry Potter series.
